Your ceremony is the moment everyone has gathered for – the part where you stop, stand together and celebrate why you’re here. A bespoke ceremony gives you room to tell that story properly: how you met, what you love about each other, the moments that shaped you and the promises you want to make.
I take the time to get to know you both, so the words feel natural and sound like you. Romantic and emotional, relaxed and joyful, spiritual, traditional or completely unique – it’s your ceremony, your way.

What does a wedding celebrant do?
A wedding celebrant writes and leads a personal ceremony. Unlike a registrar, I’m not tied to set wording or a licensed venue – so the ceremony can be shaped entirely around you.

A relaxed, no-obligation chat – face to face or on Zoom – about you, your plans and the feel you want.
Getting to know you
We talk through your story, readings, vows and rituals. A WhatsApp group means you can reach me any time.
Your script
I write your ceremony from scratch. You read and approve it before the day, so there are no surprises.
The big day
A rehearsal, then I lead your ceremony and work with your venue and suppliers so it all flows calmly.
Celebrant or registrar wedding?
Many couples do both: a short legal registration, then a celebrant-led ceremony as the main celebration with family and friends.

The legal part: in England and Wales a celebrant ceremony isn’t legally binding on its own. You give notice at your local register office and have a short legal ceremony there – often just the two of you and two witnesses – before or after your celebrant ceremony. I’m happy to talk you through it.

Weddings I’ve been part of
Is a celebrant wedding legally binding?
Not on its own. In England and Wales you give notice at your local register office and have a short legal ceremony there, usually with two witnesses. Most couples do this a day or two before or after, and the celebrant-led ceremony becomes the main celebration with family and friends.
Can we have a celebrant wedding anywhere?
Almost anywhere – a venue, garden, woodland, beach, private home or somewhere meaningful to you – as long as you have permission from the venue or landowner.
How much does a wedding celebrant cost in North Wales?
My wedding packages are Bronze £600, Silver £650 and Gold £700. Every package includes a script written for you and approved by you, readings of your choice, a rehearsal and a ceremony certificate.
Can we write our own vows?
Yes. You can write your own, use traditional-style vows, or I can help you create something that feels personal and natural to say.
Will we see the ceremony script before the day?
Yes. You read and approve your script before the wedding, so you know exactly what will be said and there are no surprises.
Can we include children and family?
Absolutely. Children and loved ones can be involved through readings, promises, music or rituals such as a unity sand or blended family ceremony.
Can you include Welsh in the ceremony?
Yes. I have a good knowledge of Welsh and can include Welsh poetry and readings. I don’t offer fully bilingual ceremonies.
Do you travel outside North Wales?
Yes. I cover all of North Wales first, then the North West of England, including Cheshire and Merseyside. Get in touch to check your location.
