One of the loveliest things about a celebrant-led elopement is the freedom to choose where it happens. As long as you have permission to use the space, the ceremony can be created around the place you love.

What’s included in an elopement ceremony?
Your elopement ceremony can be simple, personal and beautifully written. I’ll guide you through the options and write a ceremony that feels right for the two of you. It might include:

Even the smallest ceremony can include a meaningful ritual. Handfasting, a unity sand ceremony, ring warming, candle lighting or personal promises all work beautifully at an elopement – and give you something symbolic to look back on.

What is an elopement wedding?
An elopement is a small, intimate ceremony – often just the two of you, or with a few close family and friends. It lets you exchange vows in a personal, meaningful way without the pressure and cost of a large wedding.
Where can we elope in North Wales?
Almost anywhere you have permission to use: beaches, clifftops, woodland, lakesides, gardens, small venues or the mountains of Eryri. I can help you choose a spot that suits your vision and the time of year.
Is an elopement ceremony legally binding?
A celebrant-led elopement isn’t legally binding on its own. In England and Wales you give notice at your local register office and have a short legal ceremony there with two witnesses, before or after your elopement. I’m happy to guide you through it.
How much does an elopement cost?
Elopements are quoted to suit your plans, including location and travel. As a guide, my wedding packages start from £600 – get in touch and I’ll put together a quote.
Can we invite a few guests?
Of course. Your elopement can be as private or as inclusive as you like – just the two of you, or a handful of your closest people.
When is the best time of year to elope in North Wales?
Spring and summer bring lush landscapes and long evenings, autumn has beautiful colours and winter can be magical in the mountains. The weather varies, so I’ll help you plan for the season and location you choose.

Yes. I can share recommendations for local accommodation and travel, whether you prefer a boutique hotel, a cosy B&B or something more adventurous.
