Wedding Celebrant in North Wales

Are you looking for a Wedding Celebrant in North Wales?

Looking for a wedding celebrant in North Wales who can create a ceremony that feels personal, relaxed and truly meaningful?

I’m Jane Jones, a qualified independent celebrant based in North Wales. I work with couples to create bespoke wedding ceremonies filled with warmth, personality and beautifully written words that reflect your love story.

From intimate ceremonies and outdoor weddings to family-focused celebrations, handfasting rituals and personal vows, I will help you create a wedding ceremony that feels completely your own.

A Wedding Ceremony Written Around You

No two couples are the same, so no two ceremonies should feel the same.

Your wedding ceremony will be written from scratch, using your love story, your personalities and the moments that have shaped your journey together. I take time to get to know you both so I can create a ceremony that feels natural, personal and full of meaning.

You may want something romantic and emotional, relaxed and joyful, spiritual, traditional, light-hearted or completely unique. Whatever your style, I will help you create a ceremony that feels right for you.

Your ceremony can include:

  • personal vows
  • meaningful readings
  • symbolic wedding rituals
  • music
  • family involvement
  • cultural or spiritual elements
  • tributes to loved ones
  • humour and storytelling
  • traditional or modern ceremony wording

The result is a wedding ceremony that your guests will remember because it feels genuine, personal and completely yours.

What Does a Wedding Celebrant Do?

A wedding celebrant creates and leads a personalised wedding ceremony.

Unlike a registrar-led ceremony, a celebrant ceremony is not limited to set wording or a licensed venue. This gives you more freedom to shape the ceremony around your relationship, your setting and your plans for the day.

As your wedding celebrant, I will:

  • get to know you as a couple
  • write a bespoke ceremony script
  • help you choose readings, vows and rituals
  • guide you through the ceremony structure
  • work with your venue and suppliers where needed
  • lead the ceremony on the day
  • help create a calm, warm and meaningful atmosphere

My role is to make sure your ceremony feels personal, flows beautifully and gives you a moment you can truly enjoy.

Celebrant Wedding vs Registrar Wedding

A registrar ceremony is usually focused on the legal marriage process and follows set wording. It must normally take place at a licensed venue or registry office.

A celebrant-led wedding gives you much more freedom. You can choose where your ceremony takes place, what is included, how it feels and what is said.

Many couples complete the legal registration separately and then have a celebrant-led ceremony as the main wedding celebration with their family and friends.

This means your wedding ceremony can take place in a garden, woodland, private home, wedding venue, beach setting, field, family location or any meaningful place that works for you.

Wedding Ceremonies Across North Wales

I create wedding ceremonies across North Wales and surrounding areas, including Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Conwy, Anglesey, Snowdonia/Eryri, Cheshire and Merseyside.

North Wales is a beautiful place to get married, with stunning venues, countryside views, beaches, woodlands and mountain backdrops. Whether you are planning a relaxed outdoor ceremony, an elegant venue wedding or a small and intimate celebration, I can help you create a ceremony that fits the setting perfectly.

What’s Included in Your Wedding Ceremony?

Every ceremony is personal, but depending on the package you choose, your wedding celebrant service may include:

  • an initial discovery call
  • planning conversations
  • a bespoke ceremony script
  • help with readings and vows
  • symbolic ritual guidance
  • ceremony planning support
  • liaison with your venue or suppliers
  • rehearsal options
  • ceremony delivery on the day
  • a keepsake ceremony script

I will guide you through the process so you feel supported from the first conversation to the moment you say your vows.

Wedding Rituals, Readings and Personal Vows

Your ceremony can include beautiful symbolic moments that make it even more meaningful.

Popular options include handfasting, unity sand ceremonies, candle lighting, family rituals, ring warming, personal vows and readings chosen by you or your loved ones.

These moments can be romantic, spiritual, family-focused or simply a lovely way to involve the people who matter most.

You do not need to know exactly what you want at the start. I can talk you through the options and help you choose what feels right.

Wedding Celebrant FAQs

Can we have a celebrant wedding anywhere?

A celebrant-led ceremony gives you much more flexibility over where your ceremony takes place. You can choose a venue, garden, outdoor setting, private home or meaningful location, subject to permission from the land or venue owner.

Is a celebrant wedding legally binding?

A celebrant ceremony is usually separate from the legal registration of marriage. Many couples complete the legal paperwork separately and then enjoy a personal celebrant-led ceremony as the main wedding celebration.

Can we write our own vows?

Yes. You can write your own vows, use traditional-style vows or ask for help creating something that feels personal and natural.

Can we include family members or children?

Absolutely. Family members, children and loved ones can be included through readings, symbolic rituals, promises, music or special moments within the ceremony.

Do you travel outside North Wales?

Yes, I cover North Wales and surrounding areas including parts of Cheshire and Merseyside. Please get in touch to discuss your location.

How it works

We will initially have a chat either face to face or via zoom so you can get to know me where we can discuss options and begin to build your dream day. We will meet again as often as you want during the build-up to the big day and together we will create magic.
